About Me:

My name is Garrett Wible, and I am proud to be in my 11th year in education - all which have been spent serving the Westhope community. Westhope isn't just where I work; it's where I've invested my time, energy, and heart into helping students grow both in and out of the classroom.

At Westhope Public School, I currently serve as the PreK-12 Physical Education teacher, Activities Director, and Dean of Students, while also coaching football and softball. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to step into a variety of roles, each one reinforcing my belief that education and athletics are powerful platforms for shaping character, building resilience, and creating meaningful connections.

I earned my bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from the University of North Dakota in 205 and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2019. These experiences helped form my foundation, but it is the daily work with students and staff that continues to shape me as a leader.

At my core, I strive to be a servant leader - someone who leads by listening first, building relationships, and putting the needs of students and others ahead of my own. I believe leadership is not about titles or authority, but about creating an environment where others feel supported, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. My goal is to leave a lasting impact by helping students develop confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose that extends far beyond their time in school.

Outside of school, my wife Sage and I stay busy keeping up with our daughters, Jensen and Hattie, who bring constant energy and joy to our lives.
