My name is Kimberly Braaten and I am the first grade teacher.  This will be my 3rd year at Westhope School and my 6th year teaching.  I love learning and growing with my students!

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University of Moorhead. For my entire teaching career I have been fortunate to teach first grade. First grade is the best! 

I was born and raised in Wahpeton, ND.  I miss my family and friends but I love the community of Westhope.  My husband and I have a beautiful daughter, Nora. We also have two dogs, Lola and Mazy. In my spare time I enjoy being active outside and spending time with friends and family. I am looking forward to a bright year!
